Wallets like MetaMask and Keplr can be manually connected to various testnets. MetaMask supports EVM compatible blockchains, and at default, is set to the Ethereum network. You will need to manually connect to the KiiChain network.
Click the "Ethereum Mainnet" dropdown bar on the top left and then click "Add Network" on the pop-up box.
Manually add the following testnet chain ID to add the network.
Subject | Value to Insert |
---|---|
Network name | Kiichain Testnet |
New RPC URL | |
Chain ID | 123454321 |
Currency symbol | kii |
Block explorer URL |
Upon saving and completion, you should be connected to the testnet network!
Now, get some testnet tokens by following the instructions: Testnet Tokens.
Go to https://wallet.kiiglobal.io to begin set up of your KII web wallet.
Click "Connect Wallet" in the top right corner to install Keplr on your device if you haven't done so already. Keplr is a Cosmos based wallet that integrates into KII's web wallet.
Keplr can be installed to your local device here: https://www.keplr.app/download
Users can create an account with an email or manage their own recovery phrase. Once your wallet has been created and installed, you can connect the wallet to the KII web wallet by email or recovery phrase.
Upon connecting the wallet, your wallet information will populate. Important information, like your wallet address, can be found in the top right corner.
